WP5: Engagement & Outreach

In Work Package 5 (WP5), Trees4Adapt ensures that the project is shaped by, delivered with, and communicated to the people and organisations who will use its results. WP5 brings together stakeholder engagement, dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities in a unified strategy. Using structured methods for stakeholder mapping and co-creation, the project works with public authorities, land managers, policymakers, scientific communities, and other actors at local, national, and EU levels.

WP5 organises workshops, bilateral consultations, co-creation sessions, and outreach activities to ensure that the project’s research remains relevant, inclusive, and responsive to user needs. It also develops communication materials, manages the project website and social media presence, and produces factsheets, videos, and other resources that make scientific findings accessible to diverse audiences.

Finally, WP5 supports the long-term legacy of Trees4Adapt by developing exploitation strategies and strengthening connections with other European initiatives, including the EU Mission: Adaptation to Climate Change, Climate-ADAPT, and related Horizon Europe projects. This ensures that the project’s results continue to be used and built upon beyond its lifetime.
